I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Whitman School of Management at the Syracuse University. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Economics from University of Bergen. My research focuses on the political economy and politics of expert advice in multiple institutional contexts: legislative, judicial and crisis policy-making. In addition, I am working on formal models and lab experiments on ranked-choice voting, campaign finance and bundled elections, as well as topics related to public inquiries. I use various research methods including game theory, statistical models, comparative case studies, and laboratory and survey experiments. My research has been published in Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Experimental Political Science, among others. My CV can be found here: Pronin_Kira_CV.
